On 12 March 1947, Enzo Ferrari started the 125 S, the 1st car badged with his name. That 1st drive on streets of Maranello marked the start of the iconic history of Ferrari sports and racing cars. Now, 70 anni later, on 12 March 2017, Ferrari kicked off its official celebrations for this anniversary.
Ferrari is releasing a special video featuring a re-enactment of the 1st 12-cylinder to sport the Cavallino Rampante on its bonnet, the 125 S, driving through the factory gates on Via Abetone Inferiore and, in doing so, symbolically passing the baton of the Ferrari legacy to the LaFerrari Aperta. In this video Ferrari travels in time and takes us back to 1947 when Enzo Ferrari first drove the 125 S through the gates of the factory in Maranello. Fast forward 70 years and the LaFerrari Aperta still has the same charm and magic about it.
